This is a list that I have compiled from personal experience and is mostly geared toward women, but I think you men will get the idea! We have a luggage scale so Ken weighs the piece of luggage that I am going to check to make sure that I don't go over the 50 pound limit! (He is always well under the 50 pound limit, so I know that I'll have room to bring back souvenirs)!
Most
airlines allow each passenger to check one bag of 50 pounds or less. Be sure to check with your airline before departure as to luggage restrictions. In addition to one checked bag, I take a
carry-on (which is often a backpack) and a purse. To make it easier to spot our
luggage, we wrap each checked bag with a colorful luggage strap.
