Thoughts and Information on Celebrity’s Beverage Packages

Celebrity has revised the classic and premium beverage packages and the following enhancements are in effect:

• Streamlined pricing for the drinks included under the Classic and Premium packages: Previously guests were paying different pricing for spirits, cocktails, liqueurs and frozen drinks, and wine-by-the-glass, etc.
• Classic Beverage Package Enhancement:
• Guests who purchase this package will have the option to pay the difference if they want a drink that is not included in their package.
• Guests who purchase the Classic Beverage Package have the option to order any beverages up to $9.
• Premium Beverage Package: Guests who purchase the Premium Beverage Package have the option to order any beverages up to $13 and are welcome to enjoy any single-serving beverage not included in your package by paying the price difference.

With Celebrity’s Classic and Premium Beverage packages, you can only order one drink at a time in the bars, restaurants, and lounges.  In the restaurants, I found that they just scanned our card once and then kept our glasses refilled.  The sommelier often left bottles of wine on the table for us to enjoy, once we had made our wine choices.  

If you already have the Classic Beverage Package on your reservation as an included “perk”, you have the option to upgrade to the Premium package for $11.80  per person per day. (For this 14 night cruise, the cost to upgrade is $165.20 per person).  You can do this in advance or once onboard the ship.

PREMIUM PACKAGE

The Premium Package includes beer, spirits, cocktails, frozen drinks, and wine by the glass up to $13.00 per serving (all per single serving) and the non-alcoholic beverages listed below. The following are examples of brands that are currently priced within the Premium Package. Please note that drink prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice and the brands listed below are not guaranteed to be included in the Premium Package.
